Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Quality professional to lead and manage both Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions within our Cables & Conductors manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality systems, testing, process control, and customer quality management, with proven leadership capabilities at senior management levels.
- Lead and manage QA & QC departments, ensuring compliance with national & international standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, BIS).
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final product quality inspections for cables & conductors.
- Implement and monitor quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive process capability improvement, root cause analysis, CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action), and defect reduction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, testing standards, and customer specifications.
- Lead audits – internal, external, supplier & customer audits.
- Monitor raw material quality (copper, aluminum, polymers, insulation, etc.) and ensure supplier quality development.
- Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to support new product development (NPD) and testing validation.
- Maintain and upgrade state-of-the-art testing laboratories (HV, HVDC, Partial Discharge, Flame Retardant tests, etc.).
- Train, mentor, and develop the QA/QC team for performance excellence.
- Handle customer complaints & quality escalations with effective resolutions and preventive measures.
- Report quality KPIs and present to top management.
